A little dirt never hurt. Designing a logo for a mountain bike race team is all about capturing the essence of adrenaline, grit, and the thrill of the trail. The team's namesake — popular mountain bike destination, Mount Lemmon, in Tucson, Arizona — is known for it's exhilarating descents and lung-busting climbs.

 

The visual direction taken is a mashup of a lemon rind (a play on the team name, Ride LMN) and a mountain bike tire. Gritty typefaces and an Arizona silhouette round out the brand package.
